“Independent games developer Leander Games is to supply games and content to Scandinavian casino group Betsson.”
London-based casino games and software platform developer Leander Games has announced an agreement to provide content to Betsson.
Betsson Partnership Details
The games will be a mix of their own in-house titles, and a number of specially adapted ones that Betsson will carry via Leander’s LeGa remote gaming server platform.
Follow the purchase of Oranje and Kroon by Betsson, Leander will adapt seven games that were part of the Oranje range and make them available on LeGa allowing customers who previously played via Oranje and Kroon to continue enjoying the most popular titles. These will be joined early in 2015 by a number of new slots being introduced by Leander for their rapidly growing customer base.
In recent month, Leander has partnered with many of the biggest online casinos including Vera John, Betfair, Full Tilt Poker and Paddy Power making the Betsson deal just the latest in along line of big deals that have been overseen by Leander CEO Steve Matsell.
Commenting on the Betsson development, Matsell said ”As a very successful operator, they are not short of gaming options. But we now have a portfolio of great performers developed by some of the best games suppliers around.” Of the LeGa platform that games run on it, he said ”They are delivered on a platform that allows flexibility and adaptability to suit local needs and meet modern standards wherever the market and whatever the device.”
